The object for the vessel was chosen democratically. We landed between two game controllers. A game controller vessel would have a function of accessorizing the technology. I'm not much of a gamer but I know that gamers love customization. It was in between an old Nintendo controller and an Xbox controller.

I was leaning more towards the Xbox controller, given a starting point, inspired by the wood vinyl. I thought a laser cutter could cut out strips of cardboard that would be placed above the case structure to create wood grooves. Bring in more of the idea of organic design inside. 

However, it was a trickier shape to design with. The flat base of the Nintendo was better for a chest like vessel. Democratically once again we went with the ladder.
